Picard ownership card: what you need to provide

Of the 11 Picard models, 6 can be ordered with the key number alone. For the other 5, a photo of the ownership card is required: it proves that you may have the key copied. Without the card, depending on the model, a signed form with your documents, a sample key or a new card lets you order.

What to provide, model by model:

  • Number only: Vigie sans mobile, Vigistar, Vigilia, KV10, R11 and Vak 10 Gorges sans mobile
  • Ownership card or sample key: VakMobil, Vak Unik and Vigie Mobile
  • Ownership card or signed form and documents: VTX and Picard Kaba

Where to find a Picard key number

The number is engraved on the key head or printed on the ownership card supplied with the lock. For some models it only appears on the card: this is stated in the model list. Type it into the search at the top of the page to find your model.

How to recognise a Picard key from its number:

  • CBA + 6 digits: R11
  • 009 + 5 or 7 digits: VTX
  • BL + characters: Vak Unik
  • 04, 07, 14 or 17 + A + 2 letters + 5 digits: Vak 10 gorges
  • A, F, M, R or V + 3 digits: VakMobil
  • 3006-36A, AU or AY: Picard Kaba
  • 6 or 7 digits + C, K or W + 1 or 3: Vigie sans mobile
  • 2 or 3 + 6 digits, sometimes followed by W: Vigistar
  • 5 digits: Vigilia or KV10
  • 4 digits on the key, 0 to 3 X + 4 digits on the card: Vigie Mobile

If the letter on a Vigie sans mobile is an F, it is a Héraclès Vigie. Vigie numbers starting with 2, 3 or 5 and ending with Z can no longer be copied, and only the BL profile of the Vak Unik can be copied. For a VTX starting with 023, an option with a surcharge must be ticked on the product page.
