Bounded to the south and west by a loop of the Seine, Boulogne-Billancourt borders the 16th arrondissement to the east and the bois de Boulogne to the north. The town council divides it into six neighbourhoods, from Les Princes-Marmottan in the north-east to Billancourt-Rives de Seine in the south-west.
In the north-west, the neighbourhood surrounds the musée départemental Albert-Kahn and its gardens, near the Seine. Front doors here are often old: in most cases we open them without damage, then suggest a multipoint lock if yours is worn.

In these large buildings, access is through a caretaker, a fob or an intercom: tell us the building and the staircase when you call. In these recent residences, the lock is generally in good condition: changing the cylinder is enough, from €90 incl. VAT. The new cylinder comes with its card of ownership; keep it, as you will be asked for it to have copies made.
When you call, tell us the building, the staircase, the floor and how to get in: caretaker, intercom or fob. If nobody can let us into the lobby, let the caretaker or a neighbour know. We sort this out before setting off, so we are not left stuck at the foot of the building.
