Vachette ownership card: what you need to provide

Of the 28 Vachette models, 5 can be ordered with the key number alone. For the other 23, a photo of the ownership card is required: it proves that you may have the key copied. Without the card, depending on the model, a signed form with your documents, a sample key or a new card lets you order.

What to provide, model by model:

  • Number only: V5, VRX, First, V6 and V13
  • Ownership card or a new card: other standard keys (Radial, Radialis, Axi’Home, Axi’Tec, HDI, V5 Code, V5 Neo, Volt, Vip, Vip PRO, V10, VMI, Velix, DUO and Trio keys)
  • Security certificate or a new certificate: master keys, except V5 and VRX
  • Ownership card or signed form and documents: CY110
  • Card mandatory: VDIS

The VDIS can only be copied with its card, as its number appears nowhere else; for the CY110, your documents can replace the card if the number is on the key.

Without the card, these models are never copied: Vachette Assa Abloy VDIS. The cylinder must then be replaced: lock change in Paris.

Vachette key lead times

Vachette keys are shipped within 8 working days; allow 10 days for the CY110 key and 15 days for the Velix.

Where to find a Vachette key number

The number is engraved on the key head or printed on the ownership card supplied with the lock. For some models it only appears on the card: this is stated in the model list. Type it into the search at the top of the page to find your model.

How to recognise a Vachette key from its number:

  • S1, V1, F1, H1, G1, K1, Z1 or D1 at the start: master key, to be ordered on the model’s master key page
  • A + 7 characters: Axi’Tec master key
  • CDA or CDB: Radial range (NT, Radialis, DUO, Trio)
  • EV + 5 characters: Vip or V10; EZ: V10
  • BV + 6 characters: Axi’Home
  • YHV + 6 characters: HDI
  • XM + 6 characters: Velix
  • L0 + 4 digits: First
  • I or J + 5 characters: V13
  • X + 5 characters: V6
  • YM or HM + 6 characters: VMI
  • ER12L or EROZV: Vip PRO
  • 6 characters + C01, or 7 + 7 characters: CY110
  • 1 letter + 5 or 6 digits, on the card only: VDIS

First numbers starting with LY or Y and VRX numbers starting with RPV60 can no longer be copied: a cylinder change is then needed. DUO and Trio keys have a badge built into the ring: the key is cut like the original, but the badge must be programmed by your building manager.
