Héraclès ownership card: what you need to provide

Of the 29 Héraclès models, 5 can be ordered with the key number alone. For the other 23, a photo of the ownership card is required: it proves that you may have the key copied. Without the card, depending on the model, a signed form with your documents, a sample key or a new card lets you order.

What to provide, model by model:

  • Number only: Y7 / Y7+, Y7C+, Y5 Ercy, 5G and Profil PG
  • Ownership card or a new card: Y8, Y9, Platinum HQ - HQ2, Périclès Vigie+, Vigie Sans Mobile, HXP, HXR, iX6 à bille, Keso 2000S, Keso 2000S Omega, Keso 4000S Omega, Champion C29, Champion C2J, Champion X8, Das, Lap, Snake and SR
  • Ownership card or sample key: Mul-T-Lock 262G and Pollux GMO5
  • Card, or documents and new card: VakMobil
  • Card mandatory: GM Magnétique and PM Magnétique

Without the card, these models are never copied: Héraclès PM Magnétique, Héraclès GM Magnétique. The cylinder must then be replaced: lock change in Paris.

Most Héraclès keys take 21 working days; Y7, Y7+ and Y7C+ keys are shipped within 8 working days, the VakMobil within 10 days and the Vigie Sans Mobile within 20 days.

Where to find a Héraclès key number

The number is engraved on the key head or printed on the ownership card supplied with the lock. For some models it only appears on the card: this is stated in the model list. Type it into the search at the top of the page to find your model.

How to recognise a Héraclès key from its number:

  • GB5 + 5 or 6 digits: Keso 2000S
  • OD40 + 4 digits: Keso 2000S Omega

An HXR whose number does not start with VEE cannot be copied. On a Mul-T-Lock 262G, the number engraved on the key is incomplete: only the one on the Héraclès card is complete. GM and PM Magnétique keys carry several codes (for example D5P5M, SP2R8N, D1N6R): note them all. Other Pollux and Mul-T-Lock keys have their own pages.
