IFAM ownership card: what you need to provide

Of the 6 IFAM models, 4 can be ordered with the key number alone. For the other 2, a photo of the ownership card is required: it proves that you may have the key copied. Without the card, depending on the model, a signed form with your documents, a sample key or a new card lets you order.

What to provide, model by model:

  • Number only: F5S, F6S, M2F6 and M2RX
  • Ownership card or a new card: WX
  • Card mandatory: Huno

For a WX ordered without the card, a new card is charged with the key.

Without the card, these models are never copied: IFAM Huno. The cylinder must then be replaced: lock change in Paris.

IFAM keys are made by the IFAM factory and shipped within 8 working days, for every model.

Where to find a IFAM key number

The number is engraved on the key head or printed on the ownership card supplied with the lock. For some models it only appears on the card: this is stated in the model list. Type it into the search at the top of the page to find your model.

How to recognise an IFAM key from its number:

  • from 1 to 5715: F5S or F6S
  • from 300xx to 512xx: M2F6
  • 6 digits, from 201… to 221…: M2RX
  • HU + 4 digits: Huno

Huno and M2F6 keys have a single row of holes. On an F6S or WX master key, the number ends with V and an extra mark.
