STS ownership card: what you need to provide

Of the 8 STS models, 2 can be ordered with the key number alone. For the other 6, a photo of the ownership card is required: it proves that you may have the key copied. Without the card, depending on the model, a signed form with your documents, a sample key or a new card lets you order.

What to provide, model by model:

  • Number only: CS5 and J10
  • Ownership card or signed form and documents: Pendulaire CS7, Pendulaire CS12, IX 10, IX Bola, Mini and ST15

Where to find a STS key number

The number is engraved on the key head or printed on the ownership card supplied with the lock. For some models it only appears on the card: this is stated in the model list. Type it into the search at the top of the page to find your model.

How to recognise an STS key from its number:

  • CS5 + 1 letter + 7 digits: CS5
  • CS + 1 digit + 1 letter + 7 digits: Pendulaire CS7 or CS12
  • J + 4 digits: J10
  • B or 1B + 6 digits: IX Bola
  • 6 or 7 digits: IX 10
  • 2 letters + 7 digits: Mini or ST15

On an IX Bola, the key number differs from the card number.
