Mul-T-Lock ownership card: what you need to provide

All 11 Mul-T-Lock models are ordered with a photo of the ownership card: it proves that you may have the key copied. Without the card, depending on the model, a signed form with your documents, a sample key or a new card lets you order.

What to provide, model by model:

  • Ownership card or sample key: Classic, Interactive PVC, MTL300, MTL400 - Classic Pro, MTL600 - Interactive+ Maillechort, MTL600 - Interactive+ PVC, Integrator and 7x7
  • The physical card itself: MT5 MTL500 and MTL800 - MT5+

For MT5 and MT5+ keys, the manufacturer reads the card’s magnetic stripe, so the card itself must be sent to us: without it, the key cannot be copied.

Without the card, these models are never copied: Mul-T-Lock MT5 MTL500, Mul-T-Lock MTL800 - MT5+. The cylinder must then be replaced: lock change in Paris.

Mul-T-Lock key lead times

Integrator and 7x7 keys are shipped within 2 working days, most others within 8 working days, and MT5 and MT5+ keys within 15 working days.

Where to find a Mul-T-Lock key number

The number is engraved on the key head or printed on the ownership card supplied with the lock. For some models it only appears on the card: this is stated in the model list. Type it into the search at the top of the page to find your model.

How to recognise a Mul-T-Lock key from its number:

  • 005, 013, 006C or 062C + 5 letters + 5 digits: Classic
  • 240S, 248S, 250S or 262S + 5 letters + 5 digits: Interactive
  • 262S or 213S + 5 letters + 5 digits: MTL600 Interactive+
  • 2868 + 5 letters + 5 digits: MTL400
  • 594E + 4 digits + 1 letter + 5 digits: MTL300

A key marked 262G is ordered on the Héraclès page (Mul-T-Lock 262G), unless its moving element is round: it is then copied as an MTL600.
