Medeco ownership card: what you need to provide
All 3 Medeco models are ordered with a photo of the ownership card: it proves that you may have the key copied. Without the card, depending on the model, a signed form with your documents, a sample key or a new card lets you order.
What to provide, model by model:
- Ownership card or signed form and documents: M3 and Biaxiale
- Card, or sample key and new card: Duracam

M3 and Biaxiale keys are shipped within 8 working days, the Duracam within 10 working days.
Where to find a Medeco key number
The number is engraved on the key head or printed on the ownership card supplied with the lock. For some models it only appears on the card: this is stated in the model list. Type it into the search at the top of the page to find your model.
How to recognise a Medeco key from its number:
- 6GAN or 6GCN + 4 digits + 4 letters: Duracam
- 2 to 4 characters + 4 digits + 3 letters: M3
- 2 to 4 characters + 3 letters: Biaxiale
On M3 and Duracam keys, the number to give is not the one stamped on the key but the one printed on the ownership card. On a master key, it contains PP or PG.
