The Tedee Pro smart lock is fitted on the inside of a door with a European-profile cylinder (the Tedee cylinder, or your own if it has the emergency function) and opens from your smartphone: handy for giving your guests access to your rental.

With the Tedee Bridge (Wi-Fi), it lets you manage access remotely, receive real-time alerts and check the entry log: you know who comes in and when, and you can remove access at any time, without changing the lock between two stays. Code and fingerprint entry use the optional Keypad PRO.

Tedee PRO: technical sheet
The Tedee PRO motorises a European-profile cylinder on the inside: the door opens from your smartphone, with shared access and a log, handy for a short-term rental. It is rechargeable and works over Bluetooth, and over Wi-Fi with the Bridge.

What does A2P certification mean for a lock?
A2P is the certification awarded by CNPP to security locks after break-in tests. The stars show the resistance time: 5 minutes for one star, 10 minutes for two, 15 minutes for three. Your insurer may require a minimum level.
How many locking points should I choose?
A 3-point lock locks the door at the top, bottom and side: it is the recommended minimum for a front door. A 5- or 7-point lock spreads the load over the whole height and resists prising better, especially on a tall or exposed door.
Surface-mounted or mortice lock: what is the difference?
A surface-mounted lock is fixed to the inside face of the door: it fits most flat doors and can lock at several points. A mortice lock is set into the thickness of the door: more discreet, it needs a fairly thick door.
Can the keys of a high-security lock be copied?
Yes, but only on presentation of the card of ownership: patented keys are reproduced by the manufacturer or an approved dealer. You can also order your keys by number from us.
How is a lock fitted?
We first check your door, then give you the price of the lock fitted. Fitting is done by appointment, in a single visit; we hand over the keys and the card of ownership. Our fitting is guaranteed for 5 years.
