The Diamant EI30 by Picard Serrures is an A2P BP1-certified fire-rated security door, for buildings that require a fire-rated front door.
It is rated EI2 30 with a renovation frame and EI2 45 with a tubular frame. Its 5-point lock closes with a single turn of the key; with a 72 mm leaf, the door provides 40 dB of sound insulation (Rw) and a Ud thermal coefficient of 2.4 W/m².K with a renovation frame, or 2.7 W/m².K with a tubular frame. For finishes, Picard lists 20 RAL colours and wood-effect or concrete-effect panels.
We take the measurements at your home; Picard makes the door to measure (allow three to four weeks as a rule), and our locksmiths then install it in one day, in Paris and the Hauts-de-Seine.

Each manufacturer has its own colour chart. Picard Serrures offers melamine panels and every RAL colour for the frame; Fichet, 28 to 30 lacquered colours, wood-effect finishes and natural wood panels; Tordjman Métal, 90 colours. The Bloc parisien comes in the colour of your choice.
On the inside, the door face and the frame take the same RAL colour.

When do you need a fire-rated door?
When the building rules or fire safety regulations require it for front doors, often in high-rise buildings. The building manager will tell you which rating is required.
Is it also a certified security door?
Yes: the Diamant EI30 is A2P BP1 certified against break-ins, in addition to its EI2 30 fire rating (EI2 45 with a tubular frame).
What affects the price?
The dimensions, the type of frame (renovation or tubular) and the finish. The exact price is shown on the quote, which is drawn up after the free measuring visit.
How long does it take to get it and install it?
The door is made to your measurements, after our visit to your home. As a rule, allow three to four weeks for a Picard door; the exact lead time is shown on the quote. Installation takes one day: by that evening, the door locks. Full details on our security door installation in Paris page.
