Locksmith Clamart, from the Bas-Clamart to the Jardin-Parisien

The historic heart of the Bas-Clamart, the centre keeps its 17th- and 19th-century town hall on place Maurice-Gunsbourg, and the Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul church. In the Haut-Clamart, the Jardin-Parisien lines up streets named after trees, from the Marronniers to the Acacias and the Sorbiers. The Antoine-Béclère hospital, the T6 tram stop that bears its name and the T10 terminus are its landmarks, as is Clamart Plage in summer. For a house door opening onto a garden, a security cylinder with a protected key prevents copies being made without your consent, at a locksmith’s or anywhere else.

To the south-west, the former Petit-Bicêtre was covered after the war by the cité de la Plaine: 77 buildings and nearly 2,000 homes designed by the town planner Robert Auzelle between 1950 and 1965, on 22 hectares, more than half of them green space. Place Aimé-Césaire, with its shops, and parc Robert-Auzelle are its landmarks, as far as the Petit-Clamart roundabout.
