Locksmith Fontenay-aux-Roses, from the centre to the Blagis

The town hall looks onto place du Général-de-Gaulle, on rue Boucicaut, the main street of the centre, near the church of Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul and the château Laboissière, now the Maison de la musique et de la danse. The parc Sainte-Barbe, the media library and the théâtre des Sources complete this town centre, where small apartment buildings sit alongside old houses. To the south-east, Fontenay-aux-Roses station (RER B) has three entrances, on rue Félix-Pécaut, rue Robert-Marchand and avenue Lombart; Robinson station, in Sceaux, is only a few hundred metres away. Behind the tracks lie the cité des Blagis and its brick church of Saint-Stanislas, built in 1934-1936, then the Paradis neighbourhood: 833 social housing units from the 1960s, without lifts, which the town and Hauts-de-Seine Habitat are demolishing and rebuilding by 2036. To the north-east, towards Bagneux, Scarron-Sorrières is a quiet neighbourhood where nearly nine homes in ten are flats, in residences such as the Toit et Joie residence on rue des Bénards, which borders the parc Scarron, laid out in 2022. Rue Scarron, rue des Sorrières and rue des Hautes-Sorrières, rue Léon-Blum and rue Marx-Dormoy form the grid of the neighbourhood. To the north-west, on the boundary with Châtillon and Clamart, the Pervenches and the Val Content have one home in five in a house: houses around rue des Pervenches, rue des Moulins-à-Vent and rue du Plateau, and leafy residences with a caretaker. The CEA centre occupies the former fort de Châtillon, where the Zoé reactor was started up in 1948; further south, Ormeaux-Renards also keeps its town houses.
