Security door and door reinforcement in Paris 15

A tower on the Front de Seine, a brick building at Porte de Versailles, a period flat in Necker: each calls for a different security door. We take the measurements at your home, advise you on the model, and the quote is free.

Which security door for a building in the 15th?

The security level matters, but so does the building: fire requirements in the towers, tall doors in older buildings, non-standard openings in workshops. Here are models suited to the buildings of the arrondissement.

Our doors are A2P certified, from BP1 to BP3: the higher the number, the longer the door resists a break-in attempt. The final price depends on the dimensions, the finish and the options; it is set out in the quote, drawn up after the measurements have been taken.

Three situations we come across in the 15th

  • In a tower: ask the building manager (syndic) about fire requirements; the Picard Diamant EI30 is both a security door and a 30-minute fire door.
  • In an older building: a tall door or a double door, made to measure to keep the character of the entrance.
  • For a workshop or a townhouse: a made-to-measure door with an A2P-certified multipoint lock.

Keeping your door: reinforcement

If your door is in good condition, or if your building’s co-owners want to preserve its appearance on the landing side, we reinforce it on site: steel sheet, anti-jemmy angle bars, threshold bar and an A2P-certified multipoint lock.

It is often the right choice for the moulded doors of older buildings in Necker or Cambronne: the protection of a security door, without altering the look of the entrance.

The 15th, building by building

Each area of the arrondissement has its own buildings, and each building its own constraints when it comes to fitting a security door.

Front de Seine and Beaugrenelle

In the 1970s towers, the front door must comply with the building’s fire safety rules. We check them with you before suggesting a model, both reinforced and fire-resistant if necessary.

Porte de Versailles and boulevard Lefebvre

For the front doors of the 1930s brick buildings, two options come up again and again: a BP1-certified security door, or reinforcing the original door.

Security door in the 15th: your questions

For an accurate quote, send a photo of the door and its frame.

Do I need the co-owners’ consent to fit a security door?

Your front door belongs to you, but its appearance on the landing side may be governed by the building’s co-ownership rules, and fire regulations may require certain features. Check with the building manager (syndic) before ordering: we provide the technical data sheet for the model you choose.

What is an EI30 fire door?

A door that resists fire for 30 minutes: it holds back flames and smoke (E) and limits the transfer of heat (I). The Picard Diamant EI30 combines this fire resistance with A2P BP1 anti-burglary certification.

How much does a security door cost in the 15th?

From €3,250 incl. VAT with the Bloc parisien BP1, and from €3,650 incl. VAT for a Picard Diamant 10, A2P BP1 certified. The price then depends on the certification level, the dimensions and the finish: it is set in a quote, after we have taken the measurements free of charge.

Can a workshop or house door be reinforced?

Yes, if the door and its frame are in good condition. If not, we have a security door made to the dimensions of the opening. Advice and quotes are free.
