A security door to match the flat

On the landing side as on the living-room side, a security door can be given a wood veneer, a tinted lacquer, mouldings or brass door furniture. The reinforcement stays invisible: only the finish shows.

We start from your entrance: the species and shade of the wood panelling, the pattern of the mouldings, the colour of the walls, the style of the handles. The manufacturer makes the finishing panels to order. In terms of security, the models we offer go up to A2P BP3 certification, the highest level of the NF A2P mark for a door.

What we match

  • The panels: wood veneer, lacquer in the colour of your choice, moulded panels.
  • The mouldings: a panel can reproduce the pattern of the interior doors.
  • Door furniture: lever handles, knobs and roses in brass, chrome or black.

Entrances with character, from the Louvre to place Vendôme

Each part of the 1st has its own style of door, and the finish is chosen accordingly.

Place Vendôme and rue de Castiglione

Classical façades and large flats: tall two-leaf doors, often painted. The Picard Diamant Tierce reproduces this layout, with lacquer in the shade of your choice.

  • Place Vendôme
  • Rue de Castiglione
  • Rue de la Sourdière
  • Rue Saint-Hyacinthe

Around the Palais-Royal garden

18th-century buildings, old wood panelling, chevron parquet floors: a wood veneer stained to the shade of the panelling means the reinforcement goes unnoticed.

  • Rue de Montpensier
  • Rue de Beaujolais
  • Rue de Valois
  • Rue de Richelieu

The quays and place Dauphine

Views over the Seine, more modest entrances: a BP2 or BP3 security door in standard sizes, finished with a moulded panel, often fits in well here.

  • Quai du Louvre
  • Quai de la Mégisserie
  • Place Dauphine
  • Quai des Orfèvres

Rue de Rivoli and the Tuileries

Early 19th-century arcaded buildings, oak front doors: we reinforce the original door when it is sound, or fit a new door with a panel that reproduces its mouldings.

  • Rue de Rivoli
  • Rue des Pyramides
  • Rue d’Alger
  • Rue Saint-Roch

High-end security doors: your questions

Send a photo of your entrance, from the landing and from inside the flat: we will prepare finish options for you.

Can a security door look like a period door?

Yes, to a large extent: moulded panels, a veneer in the wood of your choice, period-style door furniture. A security door is still thicker than a wooden door, but once fitted, the difference is barely noticeable.

What does A2P BP3 certification offer?

In certification tests, a BP3 door has withstood break-in attempts for at least 15 minutes, compared with 10 minutes for BP2 and 5 minutes for BP1. It is the level to aim for in a flat that is often empty or that holds valuables.

How much does a prestige security door cost?

The BP3-certified Picard Diamant 30 starts at the price shown in the table; the finish, dimensions and door furniture change the total. The quote itemises each element, after we take measurements at your home free of charge.

Which door furniture should I choose for a period-style door?

Lever handles, pull knobs and roses come in brass, bronze, chrome or black; we choose them with you to match the other doors in the flat. The cylinder, however, remains high-security whatever the finish.
