Give us the width of the shopfront and the type of control: the technician arrives with the parts likely to be needed.
Not necessarily: many motors have a thermal cut-out that trips after several operations in quick succession. Let it cool down; if it cuts out on every cycle, the motor is straining, often because of the shaft or the guide rails.
Not always: if the shaft is straight and its bearings are in good condition, the new motor fits straight onto it. A bent shaft, on the other hand, would make the new motor strain; we check it before ordering.
