Place de la Liberté, Saint-Urbain church and the villas
The centre is arranged around place de la Liberté, also known as place du Marché or place de l’Église: the Saint-Urbain church was built there between 1866 and 1875. Around it, avenue Foch and rue Sartoris, named after the banker who owned La Garenne in 1832, lead to small lanes called villas, such as the villa des Pavillons. A townhouse often has a door onto the street and a door onto the courtyard: tell us which one is stuck and whether the other opens.
