Primlock – Fichet 3-Point Lock
The Fichet Primlock lock is a multipoint lock offering enhanced protection against break-ins. Equipped with the Fichet 787.Z high-security cylinder, it is available in seven finishes to suit all door styles.
High-Security Locking
Certified A2P 1*, the Primlock lock guarantees effective resistance to break-in attempts. Its single-turn key locking system activates:
- A central bolt with two anti-saw pins engaging 20 mm into the strike plate
- Two double bolt blocks with hook and cylindrical anchoring
- A Fichet 787.Z high-security cylinder paired with a set of uncopyable keys

The Fichet Primlock is a surface-mounted 3-point lock, A2P* certified. Its hooked top and bottom bolts and central bolt resist prising and sawing; it works with a Fichet 787 Z round cylinder supplied with 4 keys.

We check the door, fit the lock and hand the keys and card of ownership to you in person.

- Fitted by our locksmiths by appointment, in Paris and the Hauts-de-Seine.
- Keys and card of ownership the keys arrive in a sealed pack and are handed to you with the card of ownership.
- Fitting guaranteed for 5 years our work is guaranteed for 5 years; the lock carries the manufacturer’s warranty.

What does A2P certification mean for a lock?
A2P is the certification awarded by CNPP to security locks after break-in tests. The stars show the resistance time: 5 minutes for one star, 10 minutes for two, 15 minutes for three. Your insurer may require a minimum level.
How many locking points should I choose?
A 3-point lock locks the door at the top, bottom and side: it is the recommended minimum for a front door. A 5- or 7-point lock spreads the load over the whole height and resists prising better, especially on a tall or exposed door.
Surface-mounted or mortice lock: what is the difference?
A surface-mounted lock is fixed to the inside face of the door: it fits most flat doors and can lock at several points. A mortice lock is set into the thickness of the door: more discreet, it needs a fairly thick door.
Can the keys of a high-security lock be copied?
Yes, but only on presentation of the card of ownership: patented keys are reproduced by the manufacturer or an approved dealer. You can also order your keys by number from us.
How is a lock fitted?
We first check your door, then give you the price of the lock fitted. Fitting is done by appointment, in a single visit; we hand over the keys and the card of ownership. Our fitting is guaranteed for 5 years.
