Centre: the Grande Rue, from Saint-Denys church to the station
One of the oldest streets in the town, the Grande Rue starts at Saint-Denys church, built in the 12th century at the request of Abbot Suger, passes in front of the town hall and its shops and leads to the line L station, opened in 1884. The market is held on Thursday and Sunday mornings on place Jean-Salmon-Legagneur. Millstone-grit houses and 1960s residences stand side by side here: tell us when you call whether your door is wooden or a security door.
